Within the framework of the elective course Human Resource Management Systems, taught by Professor of Management Dimitris Bourantas, Executive MBA students explored the new challenges that organizations face in Human Resource Management. The course covered recruitment, performance evaluation systems, compensation and incentives, and career planning through staff development.
A significant part of the course included guest speakers, professionals from large multinational and domestic companies with expertise and experience in human capital management.
- Ms. Peggy Velliotou, General Manager & Partner in Human Resources Consulting Services at KPMG Greece, who spoke about “Interview Techniques for Selecting the Right Candidates Based on Skills.”
- Mr. Michalis Zeller, South Eastern Europe Head - Talent & Rewards LoB at Willis Towers Watson, who presented on “Performance & Rewards Management” (Strategic Rewards Management).
- Mr. Giorgos Virvilis, Human Resources Director of TITAN Group S.A., who analyzed how an HR department operates in a large company, the systems/tools used, and how communication is managed with other departments of the organization.
