Laboratory of Business Strategy

The laboratory focuses on research and teaching in the area of Business Strategy. Specifically, it addresses issues on 1) Business Strategy (strategy formulation, strategic decision making and strategy implementation, strategic change management, executives’ roles, mergers and acquisitions, strategy of innovation and entrepreneurship), 2) Strategy of Negotiations and Conflict Management (planning and implementing negotiation strategies, tactics and practices, development of political and negotiation skills within working environments, managing collective negotiations), 3) Strategy, Organization and Management of International Businesses (incentives for expansion, internationalization strategies, management of multinational networks, subsidiaries’ roles, control and collaboration between parent company and subsidiaries, 4) Systems of performance measurement and performance management (planning and implementing performance management systems), 5) Human resource strategies.

Specifically, it addresses issues on technologies/systems/models of e-business, e-invoicing, systems of electronic payments and e-banking, mobile e-business, digital marketing and social media, adapting e-business models, social dimensions of e-commerce, technologies/systems/models of supply chain, digital innovation and entrepreneurship, customized digital services, usability analysis, retail analytics and e-commerce, models of multichannel commerce, digital transformation, e-government, digital business models.
