Association of MBAs
The Executive MBA program of AUEB was accredited for the first time in its history by the Association of MBAs (AMBA), the international impartial authority on postgraduate business education.
Following a thorough assessment that took place in November 2015, the Executive MBA was accredited against rigorous criteria, that ensure that the best standards in teaching, curriculum, and student interaction are met by the program.
The assessment also took into account the input from a number of stakeholders (including school staff, students, graduates and key employers).
For the students of the program this accreditation is an assurance of quality, that guarantees that their investment is rewarded with the finest business education available, a fact which will also have a demonstrable impact on their careers. For employers, looking to acquire the best managers and future business leaders, it is a guarantee that they recruit top talent. For graduates, AMBA membership opens doors and opportunities, with services that include careers support, job portals, networking with individuals from the best global MBA programs, access to the latest research, and training.
AMBA was established in 1967 with the aim to raise the profile of business education and the MBA qualification in UK and Europe, and accredits MBA, DBA and MBM programs globally. Accreditation gives to MBA programs international credibility and status and identifies the best ones among the thousands of programs worldwide that offer MBA qualifications. It’s worth noting that AMBA currently accredits programs at 210 schools in over 70 countries worldwide – only 2% of business schools worldwide hold this prestigious distinction.
